Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat. Once hot, lightly oil the surface.
Punch down the dough and divide it in half. Roll out each half into a 12-inch circle.
Carefully transfer the pizza dough to the preheated griddle. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
