  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2.25 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat. Once hot, lightly oil the surface.
  • Punch down the dough and divide it in half. Roll out each half into a 12-inch circle.
  • Carefully transfer the pizza dough to the preheated griddle. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
