Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in chicken, ham, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
Stir in heavy cream and heat through. Serve hot.
