  • 0.25 cup Mirin
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

Preparation Steps

  • In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, mirin, rice vinegar, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic.
  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
