Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook kielbasa according to package directions. Slice into 1/2 inch pieces and set aside.
In a large pot or Dutch oven, sauté onions in a little oil until softened.
Add potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Stir in milk or cream, cooked kielbasa, salt and pepper. Heat through and serve.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use bone-in kielbasa. You can also add other vegetables, such as carrots or celery.
