Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a baking pan.
In a bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and eggs.
Pour the lemon mixture over the crust.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until set.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until glossy.
Spread the meringue over the baked lemon filling.
Broil for 1-2 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
These bars are best served chilled. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
