  • 0.25 cups melted butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a baking pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and eggs.
  • Pour the lemon mixture over the crust.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until set.
  • In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until glossy.
  • Spread the meringue over the baked lemon filling.
  • Broil for 1-2 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
