  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, milk, oil, and egg.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fill donut pan ¾ full.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These donuts are best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
