Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Let sit for 15 minutes.
Roll out one pie crust and place in a 9-inch pie plate.
Pour strawberry mixture into the pie crust.
Top with the second pie crust, crimping the edges to seal.
Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled with a dollop of whipped cream.
